Ayelet Kalfus

Ayelet Kalfus is from New York, New York and will graduate from Yale University with a Bachelor’s degree in Physics. Ayelet’s research experience spans physics, biology, and computer science and within the Yale STEM communities, she has served as co-president of both the Yale Undergraduate Quantum Computing Group and Yale Women in Physics+. Ayelet has volunteered with Ukrainian refugees in Prague and established a fellowship to fund future volunteers, with the first two students traveling this winter. Ayelet hopes to combine synthetic biology and artificial intelligence to contribute solutions for the climate crisis and human health. As a Marshall Scholar, Ayelet will pursue her PhD at Imperial College London.
