Originally from Miami, Andrew V. Lorenzen graduated summa cum laude, Phi Beta Kappa, and as a Merrill Presidential Scholar from Cornell University in 2022. He received an MFA in Creative Writing (Fiction) from New York University in 2024, where he was also the recipient of a Global Research Initiative Fellowship in Prague. His writing has been published in The Nation, Cleaver Magazine, and L’Esprit Literary Review. Since receiving his Marshall Scholarship, Andrew has pursued an MSc in “Politics and Communication” at the London School of Economics and an MSc in “Narrative Futures: Art, Data, and Society” at the University of Edinburgh.
